I had that problem, and the guy that I bought the trans from did not use the proper trans fluid. Many people use other fluids, and not honda spec, but alot of them dont know that honda gears are much finer, and have tighter synchro meshing than let's say nissans. For integras and civics, You can use 30w motor oil
, due to the viscosity being the same as honda fluids.
