Motors have displacement. In any country other than the US it's cubic centimeters. In the US we don't use metric, so 1,500 cc convers to 92 cubic inchs. it means you have a pretty small engine.
The 50 HP was a joke. When a motor is built it's not exactly 1,500 cc rather a little smaller and rounded up. You have a motor that is 1,497cc and rounds to 1,500. This gives you a 1.5L engine.
