Running the fan constantly won't help too much. That's how my Sil-Eighty is wired. And it has a giant radiator and fan. If I remove the grille (just the little plastic bit between the headlights), that's worth about 40 degrees of temperature on the highway. Sitting around with the grille puts my water temp at 220 and without the grille, I can hover around 180. Usually I can get away without having to take out the grille (I like the look), but when it gets really hot, or I hit the track, I have to pull it out. I also have yet to move my bettery and replace the overflow tank. I think I might be able to lower the temps to 170-175.
