Well I'm paraniod, when I switched mine I bought like 25 quarts of synthetic. I emptied the conventional, then filled it synthetic, went for a 20min drive and changed the synthetic again with more synthetic. After about a week I changed the oil again, once again with synthetic. Basically I purged the engine of conventional oil.
-Once you choose a synthetic oil stick with it, my step-dad makes the stuff, its not all the same...not saying if you go from mobile1 to royal purple its going to hurt the engine...but why take that chance?
