This is a popular question, so here goes:

1) The picture that you want to post must be uploaded on an image host site. Here are a few to begin with:
ImageShack® - Image Hosting
Welcome to Flickr - Photo Sharing
ImageEvent- Share photos, videos, documents online. Create albums. Image hosting. Order prints.

2) Then you may link to the photos in your post using these tags:
[IMG](replacethiswithphotoURL)[/IMG] (Make sure you have the URL that is a direct link to the image that you would like to post. To get this URL, right click on the photo and select Image Properties or Properties. It should have a URL given as the image location, right click on top of that, and select Select All. Copy that URL.)

or

Select the direct URL to that photo, click on the button on the toolbar of the message window. Enter the URL (minus [IMG][/IMG] tags) into the prompt that pops up. Click OK, and post your thread.

DON'T FORGET TO EDIT OUT YOUR LICENSE PLATES!
