Well kinda. They do make more power than superchargers. However a good supercharger can do some seriuos damage (as seen in the NHRA). Mostly it depends on what's getting boosted. If we were talking a Mustang or a Camaro, then a supercharger would be best (only in the last couple of years have the V8 guys seen the potential of turbos. I think it came around the time Civics were breaking the 200 mph mark at Bonneville). But we're talking Hondas and more people know how to turbo them than suupercharge.
