When adding forced induction you will usually see an increase in fuel economy thats if you don't have a heavy foot.
I would take a S/C over turbo if you would rather easy maintenance. When adding a turbo it even makes changing your oil a little more complicated. But my next project will be turbo on a V8 and I am not talking about a diesel.
