So after about 3 weeks of half hearted trying (and many failed atempts to get it started), I finally moved the car out of my friend's mom's garage. We towed it 5 miles to my other friend's driveway. With an Integra. And a 20 year old piece of rope. Illegally. And we got pulled over. Thankfully we had a cool cop who just laughed at us and told us to park it in the nearest parking lot and get it towed the right way. Which was ok, since the rope had just broken for the 5th time. We just went back at 11 the next night. And we brought chains. Once we made the last mile, I found out I bent both of the brand new shackles I had just bought from the hardware store. Then on Saturday, we finally got to work on getting it started. I unplugged the fuel pump, plugged it back in, and it fired right up. I don't know why it was being such a PITA before, but I finally have it in my own driveway (which is beginning to get quite crowded). We're still waiting for approval to race, but that should come in 2 weeks.
