Well for cams look for the stock 3.5 cams they will work wonders. A comptech supercharger with cl type s high boost pulley and snow performance water methanol injection. You will probably need a bout a 65 shot of wet N2O. As for links I believe the S/C is comptechusa.com... cams can be ordered from the dealer adn what ever nitrous of your choice.
With doing this you will be putting much strain on your engine and tranny so you are bound to blow something. But you must pay to play.
Now having 500hp...that is a big negative. For that much power that engine will have to be torn apart and totally rebuilt. Good luck with the vette it will be fun, but to beat a vette you will have to drive perfectly. I hope this isn't a grudge match.
