Default H22B/H22B1 problems

I just had to swap out the engine in my wifes 94 Honda accord (EX I think). I didn't notice till I had everything swapped and the engine was running funny that the original engine was an H22B1 and the new one was an H22B. This is the first time for me to do anything this extensive on a Honda and so far the only diffrence I can find is that the H22B has no spot on the head for the EVAP sensor stuff. Right now the car will idle fine but when I push on the throttle it will bounce up and down between where it's suppose to go and idol. it doesn't want to stall or bog. a friend said that the EVAP can control preasure in the intake for smoother running. if that's so is there an alternate spot on the engine where the EVAP Purge Control Solenoid can plug into or do I need to drill a hole in the head? Or can I just get the CPU reprogramed? In Desperate Need Of Knowledge
