When a car is rattling at idle, and no smell is coming up chances are its a worn bushing or loose heat sheild.
Do not put in a high flow cat, your car will be annoying loud and you'll most likely see what looks like [oil burn] smoke coming out of the tail pipe [ever seen an old muscle car take off and their's smoke like a deisel coming out its tail pipe, because they don't have cats]. High flow cats on an improper engine do that, you'll look like a true $300 beater.
