Ok, true cold air is a hell of alot better than a short ram. About a 10-12hp increase compared to 6-8hp. However since the true cold air sits so low [in the fender] you can't go through water. Cause if it goes into a puddle and sucks water your engines done.

Ebay is the best place to find a decent cold air. Make sure to ask if it has a spot for the sensor, and that it stainless or powdercoated.. You'll pay $30-$40 bucks tops. However they're so cheap because of the cheap filter. So just go down to pep-boys and buy a K+N kone filter for it. This set-up will cost you $100 tops, compared to atleast $150 for a name brand short ram with less performance. Good luck with the tuning.

P.S- After install let the car idle for atleast 15 mins to let the ECU adjust to the new higher air flow.
