The F22 is not an H22 without vtec, the F22B1 has vtec, in fact. The H22 is a very simple swap for a cd5/cd7 accord, and will fit perfectly. A B-series swap makes little sense, as it costs more and has less torque, and will be very difficult to fit in your accord. You need torque move a big accord. You should be able to get an H22 for around $1100 or so. The H series is very similar to the F-series, only it is DOHC instead of SOHC, making it a better performance engine. The H22 would be much easier to swap in, and the B-series is not worth it at all in an accord. If you cant afford an H22, try an H23. It is very similar to the H22, only without vtec. This engine puts out 160HP compared to the H22's 200HP and your F22's 145 ( or 130 if you have the one without vtec, the f22b2). The H22/23 also has a huge aftermarket, so there is a ton of potential after you do this swap. If you choose to build your F22, there is actually a pretty good aftermarket for it, try F22Parts.com, or tasauto.com. There's also a forum for this car (with f22/f23/c27/h22/h23, or any engine you choose at cd5tuner.com
