Autozome sells code readers. I think you can actually rent them. I don't know, since I never deal with that kind of stuff on my own. Could be a TPS or O2 sensor. Also the MAP (I think it used to be MAP, whatever the intake sensor) might be a problem. Check/change the air and fuel filters and also throw in some injector cleaner. Those might help.
