So it was a normal morning at Honda, checking people in for service. This one customer from Seattle Washington(never been to our Dealership before) Comes in for an oil change and rotate. He asks the cost of the service and i tell him its 41.00....when he's signing the repair order he see's our posted labor rate of 85.00. He then asks me if thats what he was gonna have to pay. I said no your total is 41.00. He seemed ok with that answer so i finished checking him in and had him sit in the waiting room. Well about 5 minutes later he's lashing out at the cashier, so the service manager goes to see what is wrong. The Customer was confused about the posted labor rate and the price he was paying....when my manager tried to explain to him how it worked, the customer started yelling at him saying he had got two different storys and we were trying to rip him off. So the guy was furious
and decided to leave. We thought it was over but the guy returns after a few minutes saying we broke his speedometer and we needed to reset it
I tried explaining to him that the car was never even moved while it was here. So i walked out with him to see the problem, he gets in the car to show me and puts it in drive and says Oh now it works, then proceeds to bash our dealer...lol. No point to the story just had to tell it.
