Ya know I just started looking at this...
I find it hard to believe that HMC would allow such a thing but then I think...we are all human....mistakes are inevitable.
But if this is HMC's only mistake in how many years???
Well I still have to give them props then! I really doubt this is going to turn into something like the K cars from mopar or the early 80's quality of Chevy's or even the worst insult...any kind of Ford.
Honestly I think it is on the verge of blasfamy to group HMC and Ford together in any category!
One thing to remember is that the Japanese have a very stong work ethic. If thier shift misses quota they stay...off the clock...till the quota is caught up. It is considered shameful to not pull your own weight. I see where it can be a huge annoyance but I do not see HMC corporate saying f-it...just ship it and we will fix it later...an american company yes...but not HMC. This is from some bad tests...not incompetance.
Give it some more time and the engineers will remedy the situation and soon you will be getting things in the mail for repair/replace options.
