I thought of something else: the seats you put in would have to be non-reclinable. There's nowhere to lean the seat back, just the rear shelf and glass. Then you have to fill in the hole between the trunk and seats...
Hate to piss on this idea even more (it sounds like something they should do from the factory), but it might be best to leave this one to the car that never sees the street. Good luck finding someone who can handle it.
