In the town where I spent my late teens/ early 20s, there was one spot on the boulevard where people would line up their cars on Friday nights (kind of an impromptu show) It always made me chuckle when people would roll up in a bright orange, neon lit, kitted-up, eurolighted Eclipse and talk about all the "mods" they've done. When anyone would mention whats under the hood, it was always "Thats what I'm gonna work on next".

There was one car that I wished everyone else would've learned from. My buddy Brandon has a 1978 Celica Supra. Worked on it forever. It didnt even run for about the first year. Stock wheels, stock body, even stock white paint. But he had a lot of dough in that chassis and motor and it woulda stomped on every one of those gaudy little showboaters.
