H22 is big and heavy. The K20A2 from the RSX-S has lots of high-rpm goodness and will fit in really nice. The K20Z from the new Civic Si is mostly the same, with the major exception of an LSD. Both are 6-speeds. The K24 from the TSX would probably be the best bet, since it has the most displacement of the group and can also rev nice and high. A K20 head on a K24 block is a good recipe for power. Or, it you are really lucky, you can find a wrecked RDX and nab the K23 with turbo. Unfortunately, it only comes in auto and since it only comes in an SUV, there's not a lot of aftermarket support.
The K-series is Honda's new super FWD four banger. Plenty of rpm and great quality. Unfortunately, your Prelude is nearly 20 years old, so making one of them fit will be a huge hassle, including lots of work for fueling, mounting, wiring, cooling, and drivetrain. There's lots of info on how to swap any K into an Integra or Civic, but not so much on a Prelude (Probably becuase they are more expensive and heavier than the Civic/Integra). If you go ahead and do a K swap, be ready for LOTS of fabrication.
