So it does fit on good to know...but I know there is more than a slight difference in acceleration, and slapping on a CAI and Exhaust would cost him in the range of 800-1000 bucks and as he just explained he's a bit tight on cash (im in that same boat paying off my RSX) so while I suppose slapping on an LS is doable according to you, he's losing out on more than a little acceleration and it obviously sounds like rebuilding it is an affordable option for him.
IMHO if I forked out the cash for a GSR over a GS, LS, RS, etc...nothing but a GSR or Type-R part would touch it.
