That conversion is not fun. Doable but a real pain. Correct me if I'm worng on this, but most of the Hondata stuff is reflashes that just reprograms your stock ECU. They do it and it's set so you don't mess with it. If you want to reprogram, you need a new ECU that allows you to do so. Hondata sells those too, but this where the auto may bite back: In newer slushboxes, the ECU controls shifts and slip based on load, RPM, and speed. So you have to fight your way around that. Hondata can walk you through what you need to make it all work. I still say take your parts off this car and buy the same one in stick. Seriously, it will be a lot easier to make it all work. You might even make some money out of it if you play your cards right.
