thats cuz they had the boost up too high.. i would only put like 5 pounds of boost until i got it tuned to get the max boost out of it.. my cousin is putting an evo turbo on his tiburon and hes only gunna run 5 lbs of boost untill he comes up wit the money till get can get the car completely tuned

Also to go along with what 86 said you should prolly get a fuel rail and injectors for that because at a high rpm your motor will be using more fuel and if you get a fuel rail and bigger injectors it will be able to easily put more fuel into the motor therefore making your motor run more smoothly than it would with the stock rail and injectors. Replacing them will also boost your hp a lil further because your motor will be getting more fuel.
