lol, I'm not saying rims are bad or anything (I wish I had a new set, but its not worth the $$$ for me since I'll be getting rid of the car soon), its just that if you have the extra 5 grand for rims, body kit, paint, etc. You might as well get a newer, better car to start off with, and skip they body kit. Body kits almost always end up looking bad, and they can kill resale.
and don't say 5 grand is way to high, because if you want it done right it will probably cost you that much, unless you have connections. Body work is very VERY expensive.
I don't want to sound like an ass, but, especially when you are just starting out, I think that its more important to have a car you can afford to sell than a project. Just my opinion.
or you could use that extra money to pick up a CBR600f4i.... just saying
